In-house Training courses
in customs and foreign trade law
We recommend AWA in-house training if, for example, you would like to train several people in your team in a specific subject relating to customs, export controls, rules of origin and preferential treatment or VAT in cross-border trade. This can take place as a seminar at your premises or online in the form of a webinar. Contact us and we will be happy to provide you with a non-binding offer!
Your advantages
100% tailored to your company
The advantage of in-house training is that we can customise the training content to the level of knowledge and needs of your team. In a detailed initial discussion, we clarify the technical focus for your agenda.
Once the contract has been signed, further information from you, such as practical examples, organisational charts, data sheets or procedural instructions, are a great help for our team of instructors and increase the individual level of training.
Target Group
You decide which people from your team should take part in the in-house training. We recommend that you take three points into account when deciding on the composition of the group of participants:
- Prior knowledge (beginner or expert)
- Proximity to the topic (sensitisation or day-to-day business)
- Relevance to the company (specialised department or cross-departmental)
Confidential atmosphere
In-house training promotes team spirit and facilitates collaboration after the training. Sensitive topics can also be discussed in a closed group, e.g. internal company issues that could not be addressed in an open seminar.
Didactic methods, teaching material and teaching time
Depending on the concept, many in-house training courses have a strong practical focus.
In addition to the presentation, integrated case studies, which you provide us with, are part of the knowledge transfer.
Depending on the topic, additional materials such as legal texts, extracts from regulations, information sheets, checklists and flowcharts as well as databases (e.g. EZT-Online, Origin of Goods and Preferences Online) are also used.
Depending on the training requirements, a training course lasts between half a day and several days. Short webinars are also possible.
digital documents and exercises
Our participants receive digital documents. To be able to use the training documents in the seminar, you will need your own notebook or tablet including a power supply! It is also necessary to bring your own internet-enabled mobile device to the seminar for exercises that are carried out online, e.g. with EZT-Online.
Personal contact persons
We guarantee you individual support, from your first enquiry to the day of the training. Give us a call or send us your enquiry.
Save travel expenses
Our team of experts will come to your company or another location of your choice. This eliminates long and costly journeys for your team. If you opt for a webinar, there is no need for any travelling or travel costs.
In-house Trainings on the weekend
On request, we can also train your team on Saturdays (for an additional charge).

If you book an in-house training at AWA, we will send our experts to your company. Our team of experts consists of freelance consultants and specialists from the business world - many of whom have previously worked in administration. They have many years of teaching experience and combine a high level of expertise with didactic skill.
