U.S. Export Controls and Sanctions – Update 2020
The AWA Foreign Trade Academy is one of the largest providers of training for customs and foreign trade in Germany. Export controls form an important area of its activities.
At the beginning of the year, AWA provides a comprehensive update on changes in U.S. export control rules. The seminars take place at the Fleming's Conference Hotel Frankfurt.
During AWA’s annual U.S. Export Controls and Sanctions Update, invited representatives of the U.S. government and U.S. attorneys specializing in sanctions and export controls present the latest practical information on current developments and changes. They also explain how these trends will impact companies in Germany and other European companies. The event takes place over two days.
We strongly recommend companies whose business activities are subject to U.S. reexport regulations under ITAR, EAR and U.S. sanctions law to attend both days. Please refer to the detailed agendas for the topics dealt with.
